Blue Tit Nest Box – Lake District

Lake District, UK

This has got to be one of my favourite live cams of 2020 so far as there is behaviour I’ve never witnessed before.

There’s a bit of a love triangle unfolding in this nest as there are two females looking after the chicks. Both are being fed by a single male

Barn Owls – Dorset Wildlife Trust

Dorset, UK

This hugely popular Barn Owl web cam from Dorset Wildlife Trust always attracts a large audience.

Always fascinating to watch this time of year.

Bella Hummingbird Nest

Le Verne, California, USA

Located in La Verne, California, this live cam toggles between a popular hummingbird feeder and the tiny Bella nest, which has been home to female hummingbirds and their offspring since 2005. This nest is about the size of half a golf ball, perfect for eggs that are about as small as a Tic-Tac.

Decorah Eagles

Iowa, USA

This bald eagle nest is located near a trout hatchery in Decorah, Iowa. After two of this pair’s nests were destroyed, the Raptor Resource Project team began constructing this nest with the hopes that the eagles would take it over and build upon it–and they have! Watch as they come back each year to raise another brood

Tembe Elephant Park – Africam

Tongaland, Africa

Situated in an area that was once the ancient ‘Ivory Route’ linking Mozambique and Zululand, Tembe Elephant Park is renowned for having the largest elephants in Africa – and the planet! The park is remote, lying deep in the sand forests and wetlands in northern Tongaland, right on the border between KwaZulu-Natal and Mozambique.

Cornell Lab Feeder Cam

Ithaca, New York

This FeederWatch cam is located in the Treman Bird Feeding Garden at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in Ithaca, New York. Perched on the edge of both Sapsucker Woods and its 10-acre pond, these feeders attract both forest species like chickadees and woodpeckers as well as some species that prefer open environments near water like Red-winged Blackbirds.

Osprey Cam – Woodland Trust

Loch Arkaig, Scotland

Follow the story of this osprey pair, Louis and Aila, live from the heart of an ancient Caledonian pine forest.

The resident pair Louis and Aila have now returned and will be busy renewing their bond and readying the nest. Expect other birds to drop in and check out the nest too, and perhaps even the occasional night-time visitor.

Sharks In The Atlantic

Cape Fear, North Carolina, USA

If you want to get up close and personal with sharks, look no further! This live underwater cam is beneath the Frying Pan Tower, 34 miles off the coast of Cape Fear, North Carolina.

The tower was built in the 1960s to warn ships of the shallow waters nearby, and while GPS navigation technology means this tower is no longer used for its original purpose, it’s an important habitat for sharks, fish, and other marine wildlife.

Littlehouse Live Cams

Kansas, USA

A variety of bird feeder and bird table web cams from this lovely Kansas garden.

Always entertaining to watch.

Leamington Peregrine Falcons

Leamington, UK

Leamington Spa Town Hall is home to a pair of peregrine falcons who use a nest box provided in partnership with Warwick District Council. These webcams are live 24/7 during the breeding season enabling you to see all the activity from laying to fledging.
