New How To Guide – Make A Festive Wreath Bird Feeder

Can you believe that after today there is only one more Friday before Christmas Day?! Time seems to be flying by lately. There’s still plenty of time to have a go at project No.5 in my #10FestiveFeeders challenge though!

We all love a holly covered wreath this time of year don’t we? Well, I’m sure a vast majority of us do! I’ve come up with this great wildlife friendly version that not only looks great but the garden birds will love it too!

It’s very simple to make utilising just four items… a large hanging basket, plastic seed tray, garden wire and some holly twigs. After I placed mine out in the garden I set up one of my trail cameras overlooking it. It wasn’t long before the birds started visiting!

I was thrilled to get the Robin looking over it’s shoulder straight at the camera. The exact shot I was hoping for!

Have a go yourself. Get the kids to help, even if its just searching around your garden for some holly!

As always, I’d love to see your own creations. Share pics with my online via Twitter or Facebook.

Have fun!
