10/02/14 Nest discovered! A pair of Robins had been spotted hanging around the Ivy covered arch in the back garden for a few days. Today I noticed one of the pair making frequent visits to a particular spot with beaks full of leaves and moss. Blog Entry –
12/02/14  Bad weather again! The garden has been hammered by high winds and torrential rain again today. Only a couple of brief visits by the Robins early this morning then nothing for the rest of the day. I’m beginning to wonder whether the weather will force the Robins to abandon this nest attempt :o(
18/02/14 Nest Abandoned – Well, after a few days of very bad weather the Robins seem to have given up building this nest. Unsurprising really as the weather has been so awful. Torrential rain, gale force winds and a real chill in the air. Hopefully they’ll have better luck next time.
